Deputy Front of House Manager

Contract: Permanent, full time

We're looking for a Deputy Front of House Manager to join our team to help deliver excellent customer service and a warm and friendly welcome to visitors to our beautiful theatre situated in the heart of Winchester.

For the right person this is a fantastic opportunity to develop a career in Front of House and Event work within the Arts Sector as well as assisting in the management of our dedicated volunteer team.

Technical Manager

Contract: Permanent, full time
Salary: Basic Salary £33,077 - £35,620 (with opportunities for overtime)
Hours: 36 hours a week
Location: Theatre Royal Winchester, Winchester, Hampshire

The Technical Manager will provide inspiring leadership for a small resident technical team, based at Theatre Royal Winchester, providing excellent technical support for all the organisation’s events, both in the theatre and beyond.

The Technical Manager will ensure the smooth and safe operation of the organisation’s technical service to visiting companies. The role will administrate all the technical logistics for Play to the Crowd’s programme and be a competent and experienced technician across LX, sound, AV and stage.

Theatre Technicians (full-time and part-time)

We’re looking for two Theatre Technicians to join our team based at Theatre Royal Winchester.

1 Theatre Technician (full-time)
Contract: 36 hours a week (Part-time and job share applications will be considered for the right candidate(s)).
Salary: £23,409 - £25,208 (with opportunities for overtime)

1 Theatre Technician (part-time)
Contract: 18 hours a week
Salary: £23,409 - £25,208 (with opportunities for overtime), pro rata

The Theatre Technicians will work as part of a small resident technical team based at Theatre Royal Winchester providing excellent technical support for all the organisation’s events, both in the theatre and beyond.

The Theatre Technicians will provide hands-on support to visiting companies working on Get-Ins, Get-Outs and performances to the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency.

Front of House Assistant

Contract/hours: Casual
Salary: £11.61 an hour
Location: Theatre Royal Winchester, Winchester, Hampshire

We are looking for Front of House Assistants to provide outstanding service in terms of efficiency, knowledge, presentation and customer care, whilst maximising sales throughout Theatre Royal Winchester’s Bar. 

Theatre Royal Winchester’s Bar serves specialist coffee, teas, and snacks during event hires and when there are performances within the theatre’s auditorium. The Bar services the pre-show & interval drinks and ice-creams.

Please note that due to licensing laws we are only able to consider applications from those 18 years of age or over.

Housekeeper

Hours: Casual
Salary: £11.61 an hour
Reports to: Site Manager
Based: Theatre Royal Winchester

We're looking for a Housekeeper to ensure the highest possible standards of cleanliness are applied to Theatre Royal Winchester at all times. In addition to early mornings, there may be afternoon and early evening cleaning opportunities.
