Bringing creativity into education: Our school partnership project

Our school partnership project gives schools across the Winchester district greater access to high‑quality arts experiences, helping to bridge the growing gap in arts education.

Working closely with educators, our team develops tailored workshops, creative projects, professional performances, and supported trips to Theatre Royal Winchester. All of our activities are developed collaboratively with teachers and linked directly to curriculum topics, encouraging imagination, creativity, and teamwork right in the classroom.

To create a meaningful, embedded creative legacy, we work with schools over two‑year cycles. This longitudinal approach allows creativity to become part of the fabric of the school community, establishing long‑term benefits for both students and staff.

Opportunities for students

Through our collaborative projects, students are given a vibrant platform to:

  • Build confidence and discover new forms of self‑expression.
  • Develop creativity and unlock their imaginations.
  • Improve communication and practice essential teamwork.
  • Strengthen wellbeing and build deeper peer connections.
  • Experience professional live performance, often for the very first time.
  • Engage with learning in new, active, and inspiring ways.

Benefits for schools and staff

This partnership is designed to uplift the whole school ecosystem. Educational institutions and their teams benefit from:

  • Bespoke CPD sessions (continuing professional development) to empower teachers with creative tools.
  • Creative curriculum resources that bring lessons to life long after we leave.
  • Direct support and mentorship from professional arts practitioners.
  • Valuable connections with local freelancers and national touring companies.
  • A long‑term creative legacy and sustainable cultural partnerships.

Together, we can ensure the arts remain an inspiring, accessible, and foundational part of every child's education.

Real impact in the school hall

Our partnerships are about breaking down barriers and ensuring that every single child — regardless of their needs — can access the magic of storytelling.

We felt very lucky to offer this experience to our children. One child stepped into the hall and said 'Wow, I never seen this before'. It was such an amazingly accessible performance
